Parent Educator Program
The 21-hour training focuses on tobacco, alcohol and other drug facts; communication skills; group development; effective teaching strategies; and classroom management. Experientially based sessions are facilitated in the same process that our Parent Educator Program volunteers use with students in grades K-6.
Youth Educator Training
Parents, teachers, counselors or community members are trained in a process that enables them to recruit, train, and guide high school Youth Educators. Youth Educators learn and teach basic drug information, identification of pro-drug influences, healthy decision making as well as ways to enhance self-esteem and cope with stress.
